Social EM Fellowship
Objectives
- To train Emergency Medicine (EM) physicians to examine and influence social factors in the context of acute healthcare needs 
- To understand the complex relationship of social determinants of health on patient health outcomes and health equity 
- To provide EM physicians the tools to identify (through research) and implement population health interventions, and disseminate knowledge to healthcare leadership, policy makers and other community stake holders, both domestically and abroad 
Eligibility
- Completed an ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Program 
- Board certified / board eligible in Emergency Medicine 
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Ohio 
- Demonstrated interest in either domestic or international social emergency medicine and population health
